Visualworkz

This is the company who I work for. I wasn't responsible for the design, our Graphic Designer came up with it. I did a lot to get it cut down into something a little less busy. Click here to go there

SerendipityDoo

This was a huge project we worked on last summer. The biggest I've taken on still. I had a lot of fun with it and used it to test out a lot of things like the way the products float. It would be easier to do now, at least with FireFox, because originally I had to go through and manually move all the products around so they would click into place. And then I had to do it again for the Spanish translation. Click here to go there

JennyCurl

Small site for a local author, nice quick job. Our Graphic Designer is responsible for most of the graphics, I was still in the middle of another job at the time. One of my favorite clients. Click here to go there

Los Primos Mexican Food

Southern California is a great place to be for all kinds of food, especially Mexican food (gee, could that be because Mexico is right there?). These guys are pretty good, but it was really hard to work on the site because I was constantly hungry. Click here to go there

Miriam Claudette

Simple beginnings for their site. At some point they want to move ahead and be able to sell products online. This was really my first introduction to using PHP, and it isn't anything big. The list of designers on the right is a text file pulled in from the server and there is a small backend program that just lets you alter it. Click here to go there

CTIS Pregnancy

This site was way more work than we thought it would be, mainly because when you are building something for an institution there are several people that have to be involved. So progress can slow down and speed up at strange times. It also proved to be very problematic when putting it together. Elements didn't want to scale with the amount of content in the page so I wound up rewriting the CSS at least twice.Click here to go there

Apparel Therapy

First official use of a CMS, Drupal in this case. I'm still on the fence about Drupal, it has a lot of pros and cons. I do think this site turned out well though, and I like the image gallery system I implemented. It basically is just a keyword system, so you just give it a term like "dress" and it will display in a gallery at the bottom of the page every image that has been tagged with the keyword "dress". Simple. Click here to go there
